Let us care nature

I am a science teacher who strongly believes in learning through nature. Nature is the greatest teacher—it provides us with food, shelter, peace, fresh air, and countless resources that sustain life.

But an important question arises: what are we giving back to nature? How are we saving our environment? What is our responsibility as human beings?

When I ask these questions to myself, I am reminded of Sri D. V. Sridharan ji, a true inspiration who lived in harmony with nature and devoted his life to protecting it. He not only cared deeply for the environment but also enlightened young minds about the importance of conserving nature.

I vividly remember his enthusiastic speech on how swale technology can transform vast, dry land into fertile soil. He also demonstrated how windmill technology can help conserve water and support irrigation over large areas. Through his actions, he proved that sustainable practices can bring life back to the earth.

Let us take inspiration from his life. Each one of us must contribute in our own way—no effort is too small. Together, let us protect, preserve, and respect nature for the generations to come.
